Erasmus is a scientist at UCLouvain working with Trase to improve the transparency and sustainability of supply chains for products such as beef, soy, and cocoa.

A qualified veterinarian and big data scientist, Erasmus studies the global food system by combining data and insights from agriculture, supply chains, economics, life cycle assessment (LCA), and spatial analysis. Erasmus has a PhD on sustainable livestock from the University of Cambridge, UK. Erasmus co-founded and leads the do Pasto ao Prato initiative.
