Mathil worked as a cocoa supply chain researcher, on a project for Trase. Mathil focussed specifically on the cocoa supply chain of Côte d’Ivoire, using a miriad of publicly available data to reconstruct sourcing patterns of major cocoa traders and processors, and to link this to socio-ecological indicators.
