UCLouvain

Jacqueline is a postdoctoral researcher in the DOMESTIC project, exploring how government support for agriculture (e.g. subsidies and public procurement) can be leveraged to promote sustainability. She completed a PhD in Agriculture and Food Security at the University of Edinburgh, where she examined how sustainable transitions in Brazilian beef systems affect social well-being using empirical analysis and mathematical modelling. She has contributed to international collaborations, including FAO/WHO GIFT through consultancy with FAO. Her research interests include integrating nutritional epidemiology, agricultural economics, and environmental and social sciences to inform policy-relevant research on sustainable and equitable transitions in Brazilian food systems.
